Abstract

In Ayurveda so many dosage forms are available to treat all kind of diseases. From the list of available dosage form, bhasma’s are one of the most unique dosage form which is made by incinerating preferably metal and mineral origin of drugs. . Tamar Bhasma (TB) is one of the preferred metallic formulations that is used to treat a variety of ailments such as peptic tumors, jaundice, autoimmune diseases, dyspnea etc Present study is an effort to compile the various dosage form of tamra bhasma. This initiative would aid on Ayurvedic doctors, drug makers, and researchers in understanding the various aspects of Tamra bhasam (T,B)
